Fall Has Arrived

Business has slowed way down for now. Fall is in full swing. The leaves are beautiful, but nearly all have fallen. Winter chills are all around us now in the north.

Most weekend warriors with their boats, campers, RV's and summer homes have all packed up for the winter. The parks have closed, and the ferries stopped taking visitors to and from the islands.

Winter's up here in NW Ohio can be filled with adventures. And of course, SNOW galore. It keeps people from coming up but I think it's the perfect time to visit and truly unwind.

Bundle up, and search for beach glass on the shores. There's so much of it in the winter. I've found some of my favorite pieces then. The lighthouse in town is new and I know the photographs will be beautiful with a snowy white background.

There are snowmobiles trails in East Harbor and Maumee Bay State Parks. (all just minutes away)

You can plan a sweet retreat with your friends. Knitting, book clubs, wine tasting. The inn is dressed for the winter travelers and the holidays now. You'll have a lot of peace and quiet here, and that is just what you imagined for yourself now isn't it.

Hugs,
Liz
